PUMP DYNAMICS was formed in January, 2000 as a Manufacturer’s Representative for an API‐610 pump manufacturer located in Canada. After eight very successful years the management of PUMP DYNAMICS decided it was time to enter the manufacturing side of the business. After searching for the right partners that would bring the necessary skills and resources to the enterprise, a joint venture company was formed.
This new joint venture company, UNITED PACIFIC / CENTRIFUGAL TECHNOLOGY was incorporated in early 2009 with partners Pump Dynamics, Inc. of Houston, Texas, United Pacific Pumps Pte., Ltd. of Singapore and Centrifugal Technology, LLC of Shreveport, LA. With two experienced and talented pump design engineers, plus a state of the art manufacturing facility in Shreveport with pump test facilities, UP/CT is capable of building a wide range of API‐610 compliant centrifugal pumps to support customers in the Oil & Gas Upstream and Downstream Sectors. Recently, UP/CT dropped the "UNITED PACIFIC" from the joint venture name to emphasize the partners technical capabilities with focus on the name CENTRIFUGAL TECHNOLOGY.
In addition to its original joint venture partners, PUMP DYNAMICS has assembled a consortium of manufacturing partners across the globe that work together to provide the depth of resources of a world class pump company and more. As a result of our success in forming strategic alliances with experienced and skilled specialists in the pump and related industries, PUMP DYNAMICS has formed an OEM & Repair Shop Products & Services Group to support pump manufacturing companies, repair shops, distributors, representatives and any other organization that want to supply their customers with high quality, low cost pumps, parts and service with extremely competitive delivery schedules.
